That strong output was buoyed by a whopping .389 average on balls in play and belied a concerning 34.2% strikeout rate, however, leading to some skepticism of Mitchells ability to sustain that production. A return for Mitchell couldve freed Collins to play more in the infield; he has experience at second base in particular but has some briefer forays into the left side of the diamond, which has been an ongoing i sue for Milwaukee all season.
