Former major league infielder Sean Burroughs died in May of a fentanyl overdose, TMZ reported, citing the Los Angeles County medical examiner. The official cause of death was listed as fentanyl intoxication, Ethan Edwards Jersey the outlet reported. The death was ruled to be accidental.
