Twenty current and former NFL players -- including XLVIII Champion defensive end and two time er, tight end -- will take part in the inaugural NFL Finance Camp on Tuesday though March 20 at the University of Miami School of Busine s Administration. The program offers participants an opportunity to get an in-depth understanding of the people, investments and forces in the financial world that will dictate how well they can leverage their earnings into long-term financial security. Over the course of four days, the participants will receive instruction from University of Miami School of Busine s Administration profe sors, retired All-Pro defensive end Patrick Kerney -- who now serves as the NFL Grant Calcaterra Jersey Vice President of Player Benefits -- and representatives from the Investools from TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. "The NFL offers the opportunity for many of its players to translate a relatively short career into a lifetime of freedom and opportunity," said Kerney. "The NFL Finance Camp will provide the type of unbiased information to help participants understand the long-term impact of current decisions, properly evaluate their current situation and capitalize on ways to optimize their financial futures."NFL Player Engagement offers current and former players 8 training programs for post-NFL careers.
