No, you didn't read that wrong. Gretzky went into detail about his playing days and the equipment and clothes he would wear for these games. He said that he would change his underwear during the intermi sions of every game. It's not nece sarily unheard of, but for the most part, players today aren't stripping down to their e sentials.
